Mr. Elmo D. Spinks

Memorial Service for Mr. Elmo Donavan Spinks 76, will be held at the Centuries Memorial on Saturday, January 7th at 10:00. Officiating will be Brother James Hanks from Oakmont Church of God. Mr. Spinks entered into eternal rest January 4th after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his son and wife, David and Vencia Spinks and grandson Vincent Spinks, Son Steve Spinks and grandson Colin Spinks, Step-daughter Jan Nations and Step-sons Joby and Jerry Addison. Sister in law, Dell Spinks, sisters Jenny Spinks, Joyce Calhoun and husband Jerry and Jane Dunn, brother Harvey “Ski Daddy” Spinks. He is preceded in death by his parents Ishamal and Levis Spinks, wifes Mary Spinks Simmons and Sandra Spinks, brothers Doug Spinks, Deward “Bubba”Spinks and Glenn Spinks.

A very special Thank you to Aunt Dell Spinks for your countless days and nights of taking great care of our Dad, also to the nursing staff of Bradford Nursing Home for all the years of taking great care of Dad and to Dr. Allan Matriano-Lim, a big and special thank you to the nursing staff of Promise hospital ICU Unit and wing 2-East and especially to his niece, KJ Whatley for all the love you showed to Dad and to us at the end of his life.
