Edwin O. "Ed" Robinson

Services to honor Edwin O. “Ed” Robinson, 87, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Minister Jerry Hodge from University Church of Christ. The family will receive visitors on Monday, February 22, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Ed was born Edwin Odean Robinson on Thursday, October 4, 1928 in Millersview, TX. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, a faithful Christian and longtime member of University Church of Christ. An accomplished and talented salesman, his loves beyond the Lord and his family included flying planes, hunting, fishing and gardening.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, Opal and Johnie, his sister Linda Lou Wolf, and his son Byron. Left to cherish his memory are his love of 64 years MaryAnn, his sons Mike (wife Susan), Buddy and Patrick, his sisters Mildred, Mozelle and Louise, his brother Johnie, his grandsons Justin, Steffen, Joshua and Quinn, his granddaughters Julianne and Miranda, and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital be made in his honor.
