We are greatly saddened by her passing because it leaves an enormous void in our hearts and lives. Her legacy of love will live in our memories forever. She has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her husband George R. Black. She leaves behind a son Jerry W. Black (Margaret), a daughter Sue Offutt (Lee), nine Grandchildren Dawne Wieber (Joe), Danny Black (Laurie), Lee Offutt II (Margret), Mark Offutt (Gina), Chris Offutt (Stacy), Lisa Hammond (Danny), Austin Offutt (Lyndajoy), April Tabibi (Farzad) Summer Curtis (Sean), and fifteen Great Grandchildren.
A Life Celebration will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:30 AM with Bro. Floyd Johnson officiating. The Family will receive visitors from 9:30- 10:30 AM the day of the service.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dianne Dawson and Columbus and Jewel Williams for going the extra mile in their compassionate care for Maurine.
