Doris M. Gisel

A memorial service will be held for Doris m. Gisel,92 at 10 am Saturday Dec.31,2016 at Brookwood Baptist Church. Doris Gisel entered Heaven's Gates on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Glen Retirement Home.

Doris was born January 16, 1924 in London, England, the daughter of William floyd Cox, who did the draperies and upholstery at Buckingham Palace, and Alice may Cox(white). Doris was married in London to Lt/Col. Clarence P. Gisel, USAF and brought to the United States as a war bride at the end of WW II.

Her husband and youngest son Steven Gisel preceded her in death.

She is survived by her other three children and their spouses. Paul William Gisel with wife Diane and family, Susan Ann with husband Jimmy Jones, and Karen Gisel; Loving grandchildren and spouses, Jason with wife Mary Jones, Tasha Jones, and Cheri Gisel-Stacey; Along with numerous great Grandchildren.

We appreciate all the love and care given her during her stay at the Glen Retirement Home. In lieu of flowers we ask a donation be made in her memory to Brookwood Baptist Church.
