Ms. Bernice, Mr. Jody, George, Troy, Kirk, Tim and family...I often think of our years on Melanie Lane. What a blessing it was to grow-up and live surrounded by good, caring folks. I am saddened to hear of Mr. Don's passing. His battle is over and he is at peace. May you all find solace from each other and the Lord at this trying time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To Don's Family, Don was a childhood friend and I have not seen him in many, many years yet I recall the many happy times of childhood sandlot ball games and other times of fun.  
Don was a fun friend even though he sometimes tried to cheat at the games!

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to  Don A. Davis  our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Don.   And to Don it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country while serving in the U.S. Navy.  Don, we bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.
