David was a 1984 graduate of Parkway High School. He served in the US Navy and attended Palmer Chiropractic School in Iowa. He was an avid kayaker and had played rugby for 30 years. David was a member of St Pius X Catholic Church and owner of Trueblood Health and Safety Practices in Oil City, LA. He never met a stranger and talked to everyone.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Trueblood, he is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Elisa Million Trueblood; his father Ronald Trueblood, Sr.; Daughters, Katherine A. Trueblood and Zoey R. Trueblood; sons, Dylan H. Trueblood and Andrew T. Trueblood; step-daughter, Karla A. Knapp and her husband Dan; step-son, Taylor Lindsey and fiancee Taylor Shows; four grandchildren, Landon Knapp, Carter Knapp, Gabriel Lindsey, and River Willard; a sister, Donna Trueblood; a brother, Ronald Trueblood, Jr.; other relatives and many friends.
A service celebrating the life of David Wayne Trueblood will be conducted Friday, July, 27, 2018, 11:00 AM at St Pius X Catholic Church, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Father Joe Martina.
