Chuck graduated from Northwestern State University. He spent most of his career in the medical profession as a RN with Willis Knighton Health System and COO of Priority Medical Staffing. Chuck loved being at his home on Deer Creek Farm, where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He especially loved taking evening rides to check the garden and feed his fish, deer, geese and birds. Being a Pawpaw brought him great joy. He loved having small talks with the grandkids and teaching them to hunt, fish and drive the ATV on the farm. Chuck was fond of the outdoors and loved talking about it with his hunting and fishing buddies. This past Thanksgiving was especially memorable as all of his children and grandchildren were here to enjoy their time with him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Debbie Bruce Carr; sons, Shane Carr (Sara), Daniel Carr (Kirstin) and Doug Hall; daughters, Misty Candler (Bronson) and Lauren Metzger (Justin); grandchildren, Ethan, Evangeline, Simon and Violet Carr, Brody and Presley Hall, Luke, Landon and Lakelyn Candler and Evan Metzger; mother-in-law, Jerry Ann Bruce; sisters, Linda Reese (James), Jeanie Nichols (Steve) and Janet Hattaway; brother, Richard Tullos (Diane); brothers-in-law, Tommy Russell, Rickey Bruce (Danis) and Vic Bruce (Amy); sisters-in-law, Brenda McNeal (Gary) and Becky Clampet (Ricky) and numerous nieces and nephews.
