Beatrix Y. Williamson, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior, September 9, 2010, after a lengthy but courageous battle with Alzheimers. Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 12, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Justin Williams.
“Gran” as she was affectionately called was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family especially her 8 grandchildren. She loved to play the piano and read.
Beatrix was preceded in death by her husband Eugene. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Williamson of Benton, LA and Keith Williamson of Pasadena, MD; two daughters, Alethia McKnight and Kathy Sims of Shreveport; one brother, Eugene; and two sisters, Arita and Rowena.
Pallbearers will be Devin McKnight, John Sims, Michael Romesburg, Wayne Williamson, Keith Williamson and Randy McKnight.
