Barry Quinn Whitten, 66, was called to his Heavenly home on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Willis-Knighton Bossier,Bossier City, Louisiana. He was born on Monday, August 26, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Basil Quenton and Marie Whitten.
Barry was a graduate of Treadwell High School and received a Bachelor of Science from Liberty University in 1987. He served this grateful nation by enlisting with the United States Air Force. Barry was an entrepreneur and had a career in Visual Arts. He loved photography, computer graphics, baseball, softball, football and spending quality time with his family. Barry is a published sports photographer, he was a former youth coach, and a master event planner. His greatest achievement was his children and his grandchildren.
Barry was preceded in passing by his parents; and his sister, Norma Wilhelm.
Left to cherish Barry’s wonderful memories will be his three children: son, Jason Andrew Whitten and wife Mary Ann, son, Austin Quinn Whitten and wife Addison, daughter, Jennifer Whitten Woodard and husband Jason; seven grandchildren: Dakota Blake Whitten and wife Hope, Elijah Whitten, Logan Whitten, Courtney Woodard, Ethan Woodard, Charlie Kate Whitten, Annie Rhea Whitten; one nephew, Joe L. Williams; along with many extended family members and a number of wonderful friends.

A Celebration of Life service for Barry will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Summit Event Center, 5400 E. Texas Street, Bossier City, Louisiana, 71111.
