Barry "Pops" Morgan

Keithville, LA Barry “Pops” Morgan was born May 15, 1948 in Shreveport, LA, his parents were Doris Marie Bolt and Ace Chapman Morgan. He went to be with his Lord January 23, 2015 surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.

Mr. Morgan was a 1967 graduate of Woodlawn High School. He worked most his life in the water well industry, 20 + years at Keithville Well Service. He was a family man, his family came first in everything. He enjoyed his time with his grandchildren at all their special events. Mr. Morgan was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

Preceding Mr. Morgan in death is his parents. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, June Morgan; his sons, Tim Morgan and wife Kristina, Jay Morgan and fiancée Amanda Joubert, Nick Morgan and wife Lori, Chris Morgan and wife Ashley, and Josh Pooky Morgan and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Timmy, Hunter, Lillian, Isabel, Taylor, Jayden, Kailey, Landree, Greyson, Mallory and Drew; sister, Rita Darnell; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Morgan; his beloved companion, Bristol; and a host of nephews, nieces, adopted family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2015, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. John Korlaske. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers are his Keithville Well Service Family.

The family expresses a special thank you to Tristy Sullivan and all the nurses and aids at Willis Knighton Hospice and a special thank you to Jeff and Amy Talley for all their love and support.
