Linda, Melinda, Melissa, Dennie,  I am so sorry to here of Baba passing. I remember all the times she would go to the boutique and buy Chris the Kelly kid clothes. She was a very special person. I know that I will miss her. I hope that the  Lord will touch each of your lives and make her passing not as hard. God bless each of you.

It's so hard to put into words what Aunt Barbara and Uncle Bob meant to me. Even though we lived so far apart, we always had that special bond that I will treasure always. Baba was my greatest cheerleader. She always made me feel like I could do anything. I feel very blessed to have all the wonderful memories of all the talks we had. We spent hours talking about nothing and everything. She was not only my aunt but also my friend. Right now my heart is broken that I will not have you to talk to but I know you are at peace and surrounded by love and for that I am thankful. It was where you wanted and needed to be. I know I will see you again one day and until then I will do my best to be the kind of women you would be proud of. You were a great example of family, love and loyalty and for that I will forever feel blessed that you were such a big part of my life. I love you Baba to heaven and back.

Baba was not only my grandmother but also one of my best friends. She was always my biggest supporter, encourager, and never missed any life event; regardless how big or small it was. She helped shaped me into the person I am today and instilled her values in me. I am so thankful for all the great memories and important life lessons that she left with me. Although my heart is broken, I am so glad she is happy in heaven with my grandpa and other loved ones; and is at peace. No matter where I go in life, I will always take her with me and live my life in a way to make her proud. I am forever grateful that God blessed me with a grandmother and great grandmother to my daughter as special as her who not only touched my life but every person she came across.

I did not know your dear Baba but I felt like I knew the loving woman you describe through the pictures Melinda posted. You could see the love shining through her eyes as she held Miss Caroline. I know how much I love my grandma and how I dread the day she is called home so my heart aches for everyone who is mourning this dear lady. May God grant you the comfort and peace that only He can and may you find some comfort in the knowledge that those who love you are praying for all of you . It is such sweet sorrow to have a loved one depart our earthly home but someday you will be reunited. Love and prayers are with you.

Barbara Gail was a force of nature. She was so funny , kind, and thoughtful. I always loved the fact that whenever she found anything about my nieces and nephew in the newspaper she would cut it out and mail it to them so they wouldn't miss it.  I always looked forward to her emails and jokes before she became ill. She was so special and will be sorely missed by those whose lives she touched.

Barbara was not only the mother of my friend, she was also my friend.  When I was librarian at Bellaire, we never had a book fair without her countless hours as a volunteer.  Barbara was always available if we needed anything. After I moved away, she made a special effort to see me when I came to school for a visit.  She was loving and kind, a very special person who was not ashamed of her relationship with Jesus.  Baba will be greatly missed, but her sweet memory lives on in my heart. We love and miss Baba so much; she brought such a light to everyone she was around, and we always enjoyed her company, her advice and wisdom, and her sweet gestures so much. We will treasure all of those memories forever!

I will forever be grateful, blessed, and feeling loved having known Baba. I will never forget that gorgeous smile and sweet lilting laugh she had. I will also never forget how loving and accepting she was of me. She as such a true lady in every meaning of the word! I will never forget her.

I will always remember Barbara Gayle sitting in the kitchen at Granny's welcoming everyone in!  She will definitely be missed!
