Services to celebrate the life of Arthur J. “A.J.” Brown, 88, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rose Neath Cemetery, Bossier City, LA. There will be a brief visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Born in Coushatta, LA, his first job was as a trolley driver for Shreveport Transportation! He retired from the United States Army after serving in active duty and reserves. He worked for AT&T/Lucent Technologies where he retired after 30 years. He was an El Karubah Shriner, a 32nd Degree Mason and loved hunting and fishing. He preferred to go fishing over any other activity. You never saw Jack Brown without a smile on his face. A smile that will truly be missed!
