Max Rudolf Friedrich

Funeral Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas and will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10:00 am at Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Shiner, Texas with Reverend Elaine Gomulka officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 5:00 ~ 7:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas.

Max was born July 16, 1929 in Gonzales County, Texas. He was the son of Albert and Olga (Frankenhausen) Friedrich.

Max worked for Kasper Wire Works in the shipping department. Max enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends. He was also an amateur photographer, and snapped pictures of wherever he was traveling through.

He is survived by a niece, Carol Fiedler and her husband, David of Rosenberg, Texas, a nephew, David Jaks and his wife, Cindy of Acton, California, three great- nieces; Megan Fiedler, Carissa Jaks and Sarah Englestad, one great nephew, Kyle Fiedler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Olga Friedrich, one sister, Hilda Marie Jaks, and one brother-in-law, Robert Stephen Jaks.
