Ronald "Ronnie" Carl Snyder

Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Carl Snyder, 69, of Shenandoah, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, July 23, 2024, at his residence. A son of the late Carlin Lee and Rebecca Dennison Snyder, he was born on January 10, 1955 in Harrisonburg. Ronnie graduated from Turner Ashby High School in 1973 and was employed by Monumental Life Insurance Company for 34 years. He had lived in Shenandoah for the last 20 years, prior to moving from Woodstock. Among his hobbies and interests were hunting, fishing and cutting firewood. On July 30, 1976, he married Debra Murdock Snyder, of Shenandoah, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Christopher Snyder and wife, Katie, and Brent Snyder and wife, Heather, all of Woodstock; two grandchildren, Jaxson Snyder and Brady Snyder; one brother, Denny Snyder and wife, Terrie, of West Augusta; two nieces, Tara Snyder and Krista Hailey and husband, Junior; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; two great-great nephews; one great-great-niece; one brother-in-law, Mark Murdock, of Pennsylvania and special friends, Jim Davis and companion Valerie, of Shenandoah. Ronnie will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 2 pm, Friday, August 2, 2024 at Lindsey - Kyger Funeral Home, Shenandoah. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cat’s Cradle, P.O.
