Obituary of Elda Jean (Bradley) Good
Elda Jean Bradley Good, 88, of Shenandoah passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at her home. She was born on September 28, 1935 in Page County and was the daughter of the late Vernie Franklin and Lena Blanche Seal Bradley. Mrs. Good was a homemaker and enjoyed having all the neighborhood children come to her house. She was a member of the St. Paul Episcopal Church in Shenandoah. On November 15, 1958, she married Charles I. Good, Jr., who preceded her in death on April 12, 2002. She is survived by sons, William Grant Good and Charles I. “Skeeter” Good, III (Bonnie Cubbage); daughter, Iva Charlene Ruhling all of Shenandoah; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, David Leroy Bradley of Front Royal; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, an infant son, Earl Ellis; a daughter, Mary Ellen Ellis Lang; a son, Steven Wayne Good; two brothers, Amos and Edward Bradley; and a sister, Iva Blanche Bradley Rosser, preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice. Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with The Rev. Martha Dooley, Deacon officiating. Burial will be private at Rest Haven Community Cemetery.
