She was born on May 3, 1924, in Page County and was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence Painter Aleshire.
Angie lived the majority of her life in Shenandoah and attended schools in Page County. She is a member of the Church of the Valley and was employed at Blue Bell for 30 years before retiring in 1976.
She was married on August 28, 1945 to Harry E. Lucas, who preceded her in death on June 6, 1992.
She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Wampler and friend, Paul Cason, Bonnie Good and husband, Kayron, all of Shenandoah, and Sharon Price of Luray; six grandchildren, Brooke Kite, Ken Wampler, Stacy Wampler and also including Jared, Nathan, and Brian Price who were raised in her home, and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Church of the Valley with Pastor Alfred C. Comer, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Coverstone Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
