Lisa Ann Brey

Lisa was born April 15, 1963 in Sheboygan to Delano and Audrey (Schneider) Hamann. She was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School, Class of 1981 and furthered her education at UW-Oshkosh and McConnell Travel School in Minneapolis, MN.

On September 27, 1986 Lisa and Ronald J. Brey were united in marriage at Ebenezer UCC.

Lisa was employed at Wigwam Mills, Quality State Oil, Nigrelli Systems, and at the YMCA in Sheboygan Falls.

She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed cooking traditional meals as well as trying out new recipes. She was also involved in teaching the Youth Pom-Pon class at the YMCA in Sheboygan Falls as well as singing with the Gesangverein Concordia Singing Society in Sheboygan.

In addition to her husband, Ron, she is survived by her daughters, Mollie (fiancé, Dustin Ver Velde) Brey of Sheboygan and Mallory Brey of Schaumburg, IL; her grandson, Jackson Ver Velde; her father Del Hamann of Sheboygan; her sister, Julie (Kurt) Raymond of Waukesha; her mother-in-law, Shirley Brey of Sheboygan; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Hamann and her father-in-law, Arnold Brey.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 at St. John’s UCC Church at 13th and Lincoln. Rev. Gregory S. Whelton, Pastor, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in her name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their compassion and support these last few days.

Lisa will be dearly missed by her family and her beloved Dachshund, Oscar.
