Jim was born May 23, 1947 in Sheboygan to Andrew and Jane (LeMahieu) Bellinder.
He attended Holy Name Grade School before graduating from Sheboygan North High School, Class of 1965.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1970. Following his service, Jim returned to Sheboygan and became employed at K.W. Muth Co. where he was a loyal employee for 32 years.
Jim worshiped at Immaculate Conception and St. Dominic Catholic Churches.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, country line dancing, attending auctions, and working with wood, making rabbit cages and bird houses. Many happy times were spent dining with friends at Bill’s Corner Café and Schulz’s Restaurant.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert Bellinder of Sheboygan and Theodore (Marie) Bellinder of Williston, Vermont; three sisters, Rosanne (Joseph) Faust of Malone, WI, Victoria (Jerome) Russart of Sheboygan and Elizabeth (Saul) Pliuskonis of Northglenn, Colorado; two aunts, Jeanne LeMahieu of Ripon, WI and Geraldine Sramek of Plymouth, WI. Jim is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews; a best friend, Paul (Jane) Mertens of Cleveland, and Diane Sperry of Sheboygan. Most recently, Bernie and Linda Falk befriended and assisted Jim.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Thomas, and a sister, Mary Ann Gilman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 3rd, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church by Rev. Glenn Powers, the Pastor. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 2720 Henry St., Sheboygan, on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Jim’s family extends their thanks to Dr. Bettag, Dr. Matthews, and other physicians and nurses that provided their assistance. Thanks are also extended to the staff of Sheboygan Progressive Care Center, and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Jim’s family will forever be grateful for their kindness and concern.
