Virgil Franklin Lamastus

On September 21, 1954 Virgil married the love of his life JoAnn Pruitt who went to her forever home on November 9, 2020.

Brother LaMastus’ occupation included a Pest Control Technician for Orkin Pest Control for numerous years. He developed many lifelong friendships within his years with Orkin. Virgil was supplied with not only lifelong friendships, he was fed many snacks and lunches on his service calls. Reverend LaMastus also served his calling to the Lord by pastoring in United Pentecostal Churches. From as far down South in Louisiana to as far up North as South Dakota he served the Lord. Virgil settled in Shawnee pastoring until his retirement from United Pentecostal Church located at 1010 E. Independence. Reverend LaMastus remained a faithful member at Shawnee United Pentecostal Church, The Sanctuary until God called him home to be forever with the love of his life JoAnn.

He is preceded in death by his wife JoAnn. Those left to cherish the memory of Virgil include his son Curtis LaMastus and wife Julie both of Shawnee, OK. Granddaughter Tennille LaMastus Manion and husband Josh of Shawnee, OK. Great Granddaughter, Natalie Manion of Shawnee, OK. Daughter Marsha Bejian and husband Greg of Troy, New York. Granddaughter, Joleen Bejian also of Troy, New York. One Sister, Shirley York of Illinois, numerous nieces and nephews along with many other loving extended family members and friends as well as church family. Reverend LaMastus is now rejoicing in heaven with his Angel JoAnn.
