Thomas David Currie

Thomas grew up in the Shawnee area, graduating from Shawnee High School in 1954. He then attended Oklahoma State University. On April 27, 1961, he married the love of his life, Patricia McCans. During his career he was a plant manager for Bags Inc. Thomas had many pastimes. Those included fishing, watching football, playing the stock market, and teaching his grandkids how to fix things. His favorite vacation spot was Disney World. He was a Methodist.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lahoma Currie; brother, Dick Currie; daughter, Debbie Currie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Patricia Currie; daughter, Jennifer (Troy) Downing; grandsons, Parker Randell and Christian Balaban; great-grandchildren, Boston and Adeline Randell; and brother, Harry (Joanne) Currie.

A graveside service for Thomas will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 16006 S Rock Creek Rd, Shawnee, OK 74801.
