Sandra attended Woodrow Wilson, Shawnee Middle School, and Shawnee High School. She worked for a short period of time as a nurse’s aide at Colonial Estate.
Sandra married the love of her life Ivan Leon Morris and went on to have a wonderful son, Michael “Mike” Morris. Her family will always remember her as a loyal wife, loving mother and grandmother, a fantastic host, and a heart that was meant to serve. Ivan will never forget the times he would come home late, around midnight, and Sandra would always have a hot meal ready for him. Whenever Sandra was a host, she would always make sure there was plenty of food. Mike and Ivan will never forget the spaghetti bake and tater tot casserole that Sandra always made them. Sandra enjoyed crocheting, gardening flowers, spending time with family, and eating out. She liked to travel, especially to Branson and Eureka springs. Her proudest moment was the birth of her grandson Gideon.
Sandra loved the Lord. She grew up at Downtown Pentecostal Holiness and attended C3 before her passing.
Sandra as preceded in death by her parents Sandford West and Helen Massey West.
She is survived by her husband Ivan Leon Morris, son Michael “Mike” Morris and wife April, brother Bob West and wife Kay, brother Steve West and wife Kim, and grandson Gideon Morris.
