Rebecca "Becky" Lillian Castaneda

Rebecca more than anything cared. She expressed love for all as a career and in life. She was the rock for everyone around her. In turn, everyone around her loved her.

It was Rebecca’s lifelong goal to become a Nurse. For over 30 years, Rebecca was a Certified Nursing Assistant. In 2015, Rebecca graduated with an AA and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked tirelessly and enjoyed every moment of being a Nurse.

On September 5, 1987, Rebecca married the love of her life, Steve Castaneda in Reno, Nevada. They were married for 34 years and have four beautiful children together. Rebecca was extremely proud of her marriage, her four children, and 13 grandchildren.

If she wasn’t with her family or at work, Rebecca loved to crochet. Rebecca loved to crochet blankets for her family, from baby to wedding blankets.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her father George Jones and mother Carol (Eloe) Jones. Rebecca is survived by her husband Steve Castaneda of Shawnee, Oklahoma; eldest child T. Osterhout of Los Banos, California; son Daniel Castaneda and wife Amber of Shawnee, Oklahoma; daughter Cassie Bell and husband Melvin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son Andrew Castaneda and wife Amber of Shawnee, Oklahoma; brother Dennis Jones of Merced, California; brother Larry Jones and wife Raquel of Los Banos, California; sister Jody Jones of Merced, California; sister Kristy Reilly of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; daughter in laws Amanda Logan and Kay Kemplin; 13 grandchildren; over 30 nieces; over 30 nephews; and numerous friends.

Services are being held December 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Livestreaming for the service is available.
