She was a homemaker and a world traveler in the 1970s and the 1980s. Peggy and her family lived in Greece, Scotland, and the island of Singapore. While overseas, she fell in love with photography, and loved to document the places where she and her family traveled. In the mid 1980s, Peggy became a cross-country truck driver, and loved to travel the United States. In the 1990s, she became a dog groomer and was an avid animal lover.
She married Donald Lewis in 1968 and he preceded her in death in 2019. Peggy was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Phylis Warren and Terry McCollum.
Survivors include, Son and Daughter-in-law, Donnie and Karen Lewis of Shawnee, Okla., Daughter and Son-in-law, Kim and Tim Richmond of Shawnee, Okla., Grandchildren, Luis Larios and Trey Richmond, and five Great Grandchildren.
