Pauline Kottke Crane, 96, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 30, 2015 in Oklahoma City. She was born April 22, 1919 in Earlsboro, OK to Bill and Lizzie Zellmer Kottke. Pauline attended Fairview grade school and graduated from Earlsboro High School in 1937. She worked as a seamstress at the Shawnee Garment Factory from September 1938 to January 1948. During WWII they made clothing for the Army. Pauline married John Crane on January 29, 1948 at the Fairview Church Parsonage in Earlsboro. John and Pauline had attended grade school together and then met again after John returned from WWII. They made their home in Earlsboro where they raised their two children. In 1998 they left the farm in Earlsboro and moved to Shawnee. Pauline was a member of St. Marks Methodist Church in Shawnee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Crane; son, Carl Crane; brothers, Alvin and Bill Kottke; sisters, Elsie Kottke, Marie McRee, and Helen Elliott.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Crane; daughter-in-law, Debbie Crane; sister, Dorothy Mikish, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for their kindness and support during Pauline’s final days. Also to the staff and residents of Brookdale Village in Oklahoma City for the kindness and laughter they brought to Pauline during her stay.

Visitation will be 4pm-7pm Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Services will be 10am Wednesday, September 2, at Resthaven Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
