He was born March 11, 1940 in Shawnee, OK to George and Mildred (Johnson) Hargrave.
Mike was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church. When asked about his belief in Christ and how he knew he replied, “I just know.” He was also a proud member of the International Laborers Union Local #612. He was passionate about cars and eating. He loved spending time with his grandchildren all of whom he was extremely proud. Mike never met a stranger. Mike married the love of his life, Carol, in 1961.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike was survived by his wife, Carol Hargrave; son, Scott Hargrave and wife Roxanna of Grand Prairie, TX; grandchildren, Andres, Graciela and Olivia Hargrave; daughter, Angela Toyebo of Anadarko, OK; grandson, Jay Toyebo; cousin, Weldon Cantrell and wife Barbara of Shawnee, OK; and many family and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00pm, Friday, July 13, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery, Shawnee.
