Mary Frances (Lyon) Pinkston passed from this life on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Mary was born May 15, 1945 in Shawnee, OK to Paul C. and Christine (Carter) Lyon. She graduated from Bethel High School in 1963.
Mary married Charles Tade and they had three children together. She later then married Wayne Pinkston gaining two step-daughters. Mary worked as a secretary for several Generals of Tinker Air Force Base for 22 years until she retired.
She spent her time completing crosswords and Sudoku puzzles, listening to the country shopper, and watching her grandkids playing basketball, softball, baseball, football, and marching band.
Mary was very proud of her three sons, getting to marry Wayne, and her grandkids and great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Christine Lyon; husband Wayne Pinkston; brother William Lyon; brother-in-law David Burton; and sister-in-law Doris Lyon.
She is survived by her children Charles (Chuck) Tade and wife Tami of Bethel, OK; Bruce Tade and wife Michelle of McLoud, OK; Jason Tade and wife Debi of Houston, TX; Debbie Coy and husband Steve; Ronda Evans and husband Bob; sister Sandra Burton of Shawnee, OK; brother Paul Lyon of Tecumseh, OK; sister-in-law Mary Lyon of Shawnee, OK; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
