Mary Bray

“Granny” was a loving mother and grandmother. God was number one in her life and she followed him devoutly, talking to him and reading His Word daily. She was always willing to help anyone who asks, even giving them the clothes off her back.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Wayne Harold Knowlton; and one grandson, Raymond Eugene Melton.

Mary is survived by her children: Jacque Melton (Ray), Dennis Knowlton, Norman Knowlton (Barbara), Vern Knowlton, and Max Knowlton (Marcy); many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, August 15 & 16, 2016 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Resthaven Funeral Home with Pastor Doyle Seeley officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Golden Rule Nursing Home and Angelic Hospice for the loving care they showed to Mary.
