Karen Sue Wells

Karen Sue Wells, 61, resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 11, 2019. Karen was born March 31, 1957 in Shawnee, to Jack and Lou Powers. Karen was a kind and loving person. She would do anything for anyone. Those closest to her would describe her as beautiful, smart and kind hearted. She loved fishing but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Karen was preceded in passing by her parents Jack Dempsey Powers and Lou Ella Bergstein and her son, Arthur C. Wells III.

She is survived by her spouse, Arthur C. Wells Jr.; son, Christopher Jones; daughter, Annette Granger and her husband, Bart; sister, Sharon Slattery and her husband, Sam; brother, Gary Powers and his wife, Sana and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 5-7 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
