JoAnne loved life! She was sassy but charming with the “It’s always 5 o’clock somewhere” attitude. She was always the center of attention in a crowd, just how she wanted it. She enjoyed everything outdoors including fishing, hunting, kayaking, swimming, boating and camping. She was an avid collector of Native American and Western Memorabilia. To her there was nothing better than an ice cold 6 point Budweiser. She enjoyed watching Thunder Basketball and you better not bother her during a game! Her greatest time of fun was at the Casino! She had a strategy and she knew how to take their money!
JoAnne was a painter by trade. She enjoyed working with her hands and was good at it.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Alonzo Lee Presley; daughters: Jeannie Marie Presley Garcia and Sherrie LaRae Presley Mate; grandchildren: Jessical Camilla Garcia, Sabrina LaRae Garcia Barnard (Marcus), Roland James Presley Tutt (Ivonne), Daniel Lee Presley, Mary Jo Mya Garcia, and Dalton Dakota Presley aka “Red”; sister, Betsy Kvall; niece, Elizabeth Cornell, and friend Don Forsberg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; wife, Ellen Plumb-Presley; ex-husbands: Robbie Sterlickson and Marvin Wayne Scotty Presley; brothers: Carrol and Frances; sisters: Helen and Ruth; and son-in-law, Thomas William Dohnke, II.
