Gerald was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He was a family man and took pride in making sure his family was always his priority. Gerald worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years as a mail carrier before retiring. He and his wife, Sharon, were both city people but chose to move their young family out to the country in Earlsboro where they remained until his death. Gerald was a godly man who was very active in church where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and bus driver. He was also involved in Evangelism Explosion where he would go around spreading the gospel. He enjoyed reading cowboy books as well as watching cowboy movies.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Sharon Beltz; children: Gina Rae Antipov (Vlad), Mona Gaye Beltz, Keith Wayne Beltz (Donna), and Sara Jane Hatch (Jeff); grandchildren: Sara Elizabeth Beltz, Samuel Antipov and Presley Bennett; great grandchildren: Lily Craney and Ernie Craney; his twin sister, Janice Newton (George); and sister, Eileen Marley (Alva Ray).
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Carolyn Lowe.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Resthaven Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Craig officiating.
