Services will be 2:00pm, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Highway Baptist Church, Seminole, OK. with Pastor Jimmy Ticer officiating. Burial at Little Cemetery, Little OK under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee, OK.
Born December, 30 1930 in Warner, OK to James Niram Arrasmith and Lilly Williamette Bostic. Mrs. Bennett was born and raised during the Depression and Dust Bowl years of Oklahoma and was the last born of 10 children. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1948. She had a long career working for the Southwestern Bell/AT&T companies, from 1956-1990. On May 29, 1968 she was married to Larry Gene Bennett in El Reno, OK. Mrs. Bennett (Granny) had been a resident of Earlsboro for the last 26 years. Granny enjoyed her family, grandkids & all things children related and spent her lifetime caring for her family. She loved cooking, reading, gardening and all things outside. Survived by son, Bill Bennett and wife Tracy of Yukon, OK; daughter Deana Keeton of Earlsboro; stepson Cody Bennett of Oklahoma City; and stepdaughter Lee Ann Bourland of Earlsboro; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grand-children; her lifetime best friend and niece Jeanie Krumtum of Oklahoma City and her sister-in-laws Wynonia Bennett of Earlsboro and Phyllis Bennett of Midwest City. Preceded in death by her parents, her 9 bothers and sisters and husband.
Public viewing will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 8:00am-8:00pm; family will receive guests from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Resthaven Funeral Home.
