Sorry Aunt Melba is gone but like our Mom she is now at  at peace and not in pain.  Aunt Melba always seem happy to see us.  i also remember my husband always feels no one remembers him because we do not see our cousins very ofter but whenever he would say hello to Aunt Melba he would start to say who he was and she would always say I know who you are you are Doug Susan's husband and I would not forget you.  That always made him feel good.  she was a very special lady.

Marla, I know you will miss your mom so much.  You were such a wonderful daughter and took such good care of her.  Our family's thoughts are with you.  Lisa, Duncan, Emily & Kyle

I remember quite a few get togethers with our family, especially a CHristmas party we had, your Mom is dancing with Ralph Davis and your Dad is dancing with Joan.  We have it on an old movie.  We had a great time that evening.  We used to all sing around the piano when Paul was home. Your Mom liked to tell stories and they were fun to hear.  We will all miss her. I have many happy memories  of family get togethers, especially a Christmas party we had years ago, your Mom is dancing with Ralph Davis and your Dad is dancing with Joan.  Mary is in the corner with a cigarette and everyone was having a wonderful fun time. We used to all sing around the piano when Paul was there and the family was together. In the past couple of years, I've enjoyed my visits with Aunt Melba and have great memories of the stories she told.  Her description of putting the lids on the gallon mustard jars while on the line at Frank's Tea and Spice brings tears of laughter to my eyes.  And the straight face she had on a recent visit where she told me she had been hearing voices - she had been hearing them since the night before.  And she was hearing voices, cause I was hearing them during my visit.  She will rest in peace and be forever in our hearts.

You are all in our hearts and prayers.
When I think of your Mom, Aunt Melba I have to smile, memories of her seem to always include laughter. I'll cherish those memories.
