James E. Kerr, 46, of Blue Ash, OH, passed away after battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) on April 8, 2011. Beloved husband of Elaine (Szczesny). Dear father of Natalie and Michelle. Loving son of Robert and Jean Kerr of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Brother of Dave (Helen) of Vancouver, WA. Son-in law of Walter and Martha Szczesny of Springfield, OH. Uncle of eight nieces and nephews. Nephew of Katy and Frank Serr of Naples, FL. Cousin of Karen Jacobson of Sheboygan, WI and Matthew Jacobson of Kohler, WI. Jim was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, Miami University and received his MBA from Xavier University. Jim was a CPA and previously worked for LSI Industries, Inc. in Blue Ash, OH. He was a member of the OSCPA and the AICPA. Jim was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, from 5 – 8 PM at the Schmidt-Dhonau-Kucner Funeral Home, 10980 Reading Rd., Sharonville, OH. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 14 at 10 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 11144 Spinner Ave. Sharonville, OH, 45241.
