Wyona was born February 26, 1964 in Milton, Florida, daughter of the late Pete Teasley and Callie Mae Farrington Teasley. She was the best loving wife, mother, and best friend. Wyona was such an amazing caretaker of her special needs son Chris who was the joy of her life. She lived out the meaning of a Proverbs 31 woman, loving the Lord throughout the good times as well as the rough times. Her family and friends will truly miss her loving and caring ways and friendships.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Marc Shannon of Supply; son, Christopher Marc Shannon of Supply; brother, Larry Teasley and wife Sherrie of Alabama; nephew Josh Teasley of Alabama; niece, Liela Teasley Scalletti of Gastonia; and cousin, Pamela Flowers of Gastonia.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
