She held the memories of her time spent in all of her homes very close to her heart.
She worked for many years until she retired at the Yale Co-op. She was known for being an outstanding cook no matter what she was making- but she was especially known for her famous eggplant parmigiana. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to so many that always looked to her for her unconditional support and advice. She was the brave, bright star and matriarch of the family. She kept up and on top of all the latest happenings of the world, was very resourceful and had an inspiring skill set to always get things done. She had the sharpest memory, the quickest wit and she certainly kept everyone laughing with her playful spirit and sense of humor. Viola and Fred always made the most of what they could out of life, with family being exceptionally important to them. Viola carried that disposition until her passing.
