In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Ray Hines.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Sharon Jones Hines; daughter, Stephanie King and husband Tim; brother, William Hines and wife Christine and Lonnie Hines; sister, Sharon Lucas and husband Pink; sister-in-law, Cheryl Hines; two grandchildren, Timothy King and wife Yaniah and Jaylan King; and one great-grandchild, Gabriel King.
A memorial service for both Sharon and Stephen will be held at 5:00pm Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina.
