Sheila was born in Athens, Tennessee on August 25, 1949 and was the daughter of the late John B. Tallent and Beatrice Williams Tallent. She was a retired Executive Assistant from East Tennessee University Biology Department.
She is survived by her husband, Richard McInturf of the home; three daughters, Christine Smith of Johnson City, Tennessee, Kellie Smith of Johnson City, Tennessee and Karen Smith of Memphis, Tennessee; a sister, Shonnie Long of Johnson City, Tennessee and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Johnson City, Tennessee.
