I just learned of Rose's passing. I taught with her my second year of teaching and she taught me so much. She was a patient and kind person.  I will keep your family in my prayers.

I just heard of Rose's passing and am so sad for the whole family. Dwight and I send our condolences to all and pray God will give you His peace in the coming days and weeks, and even joyful moments as you remember this special woman's impact in each of your lives and share those memories with each other. I taught at Pine Valley and my classroom was right next to Rose's.  She was a wonderful neighbor! I was always in awe of her calm manner and no one was more organized than Rose.  We also shared a love for Talbot's and I ran into her there often after we both retired.  I always enjoyed seeing her when she came to our preschool to pick up her precious grandson.  My deepest sympathy for your loss.  She will be greatly missed by many.

Jack, Jay, and Thomas, I cannot begin to understand what it is to lose a mate, but I do know what it is to lose a mom! The three of you have been and will continue to be in my prayers! Hopefully time will help you deal with your loss and help you find your individual peace and place to put your thoughts and memories. Continue to remember the many happy times shared with Rose and keep making her proud!

So sorry to hear of this.Rose was a dear clasemate of mine at Campbell  and later roomed with her brother Ricky at UNCW. A beautiful woman inside and out. Rose was called home to her Heavenly Father and we thank you for the memories you us behind. Prayers for the family abd especially to you Ricky. I love you budy.

Such a kind, sweet, friendly, wonderful person. I have many pleasant memories of Rose and the other Kaleel and Phillips children--all friends as we grew up in Clinton. My mother and I are sending our thoughts to the family.

I am so sad that Rose is gone. I taught with her a short time at Pine Valley Elementary School. She was truly a very special & memorable lady. She always had a beautiful smile and a kind word even though she was a very busy teacher. All the students, staff & parents loved Rose. I shall never forget her.
