John Leo Todd

Mr. Todd was born in Shallotte Point on June 25, 1930 and was the son of the late James Hilton Todd and Ervie Tripp Todd. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a retired commercial fisherman. The Shallotte River was a place that he loved dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Wynette S. Todd; seven children, Johnny Todd of Winnabow, Jimmy Todd of Shallotte, Teresa Phelps of Supply, Greg Langdon of Fuquay Varina, Joanne Hood of White Oak, Cindy Wittich of Jacksonville, Tammy McKnight of Shallotte; a brother, Levin Todd of Wilmington; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Mr. Todd’s request that no services be held. The family ask to please remember them in the days ahead in your thoughts and prayers.
