James Henry Inman

James Henry Inman age 67 of Shallotte passed away on Saturday February 7, 2015 at his residence.

He was born in Wilmington on June 12, 1947 the son of the late James R. Inman and Maggie Inez Williamson Inman and was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye Inman, the love of his life for 47 years who passed away on May 13, 2014. He also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elayna Phelps, a brother-in-law Roy Inman and a sister-in-law, Carol Buck.

Henry was affiliated with the Atlantic Group and the Duke Energy Nuclear Power Plant in Southport for 40 years.

Surviving is a son, James O. Inman; two daughters, Gwen I. Long and husband, “CM” and Ashley I. Mitchell and husband, Mark all of Shallotte; a God Daughter, ReAnn Eaton and her son, Will Pickard of Ash, NC; a brother, Mack Inman of Laurinburg, NC; two sisters, Peggy Sue Fulford and husband, Terry of Ocean Isle Beach, Donna Milliken and husband, Rev. Larry of Shallotte; a brother-in-law, Eugene Inman and wife, Doris of Shallotte; three sister-in-laws, Sondra Ganus also of Shallotte, Barbara Robbins of Delco and Lib sellers and husband, Keith of Bolivia; four grandchildren, Maggie Phelps, Andrew Mitchell, Patrick Phelps and Holly Long; three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Noah and Ben; host of nieces and nephews and friends

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 14, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Jennies Branch Baptist Church by Reverend Larry Milliken and Reverend Robbie Stephens officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bill Inman Cemetery Ash, NC.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 12:00 Noon at the church.

Pallbearers will be: Billy Sebrell, Robert Beck, Andrew Mitchell, Patrick Phelps, Michael Johnson and Benjamin Hewett; Honorary pallbearer will be Ronnie Cheers and William Todd.
