He was born in Loris, SC on February 11, 1953 the son of the late, R. D and Loretta Fowler and was preceded in death by a brother in law, Woody Simmons.
Rudy loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing was his favorite times. He was a longtime member of the Big Neck Hunting Club in Ash and was known as " Rudy Tootie " and loved Snow Balls. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are a sister, Janice F. Simmons of Ash; two brothers, Steve Fowler and wife, Donna of Myrtle Beach, and Dale Fowler and wife, Debi also of Ash, NC; several nieces and nephews; a special companion, “Summer Kitty”.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening at White Funeral and Cremation Service Shallotte Chapel, 3660 Express Drive Shallotte, NC.
