Freddie Lee Hayes, age 66, of Supply North Carolina passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at his residence.
Freddie was born in Brunswick County on June 28, 1956 and was the son of the late Vollie Hayes and Madoline McRoy Varnam and Frankie Varnam. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Freddie was a carpenter and commercial fisherman.
He is survived by a brother, Jeremie Varnam and wife Katy of Supply; a sister, Marie Drayton of Winnabow; special family, Brandy Ludlum of Supply and B.J. Hoffman of Bolivia; special friends, Van Pyatte, John Tennant and Tommy St. George and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday March 3, 2023 at seven o'clock in the evening at Dixon Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Negron officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service at the church.
