Debra Ann Hewett

Debra was born August 31, 1954 in Germany, daughter of the late Jack Pinkett and Frances Henley Pinkett. She worked as a hairdresser for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Kindle Hewett, and brothers, Bobby, Jimmy, and Jackie.

Survivors include her children, Ken Hewett of Durham and Melissa Hewett and significant other, Gray Connelly of Oak Island; brother, Dwight Pinkett and wife Selene of Virginia; sister, Donna Seymore of Virginia; one grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews; and friends, Anne Hewett, Jana Hewett, Pam Cheers, and Amelia Baker.

Debra enjoyed crocheting blankets, making jewelry, and reading the Bible.

Graveside services will be Monday, December 20, 2021 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Cape Fear Memorial Park.
