Danny Eliot Watkins, Sr.

He was born in Macon, GA on April 17, 1947, the son of the late George Washington Watkins and Mildred Marie Dalton Watkins. Also was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Sandra M. Williams and Kay A. McGee; a brother, Mechap F. Watkins.

Mr. Watkins was a member of the Sunset Beach Fire Department.

Surviving is a wife of 48 years, Margaret Watkins of the home; a daughter, Lori Allard of Gainesville, GA; two sons, Danny E. Watkins, Jr. of Charleston, SC and Gerald D. Watkins of Calabash, NC; three brothers, George R. Watkins of Gastonia, NC; Frank H. Watkins of Raleigh, NC and John M. Watkins of Marion, NC; a sister, Roxie J. Pearson of Spartanburg, SC; seven grandchildren, Lane Moniger, 1st Lt. Dustin Allard, Amber Allard, Caleb Watkins, Joshua Watkins, Eliot Watkins and JD Watkins; two great-grandchildren, Regan Moniger and Remington Moniger.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday March 14, 2015 at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel by Reverend Brad Ferguson officiating.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral Home
