Mrs. Norton was born in Robeson County on October 28, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Martin and Carmal Walters Branch. She was a member of Cross Rock Baptist Church in Shallotte, NC.
She is survived by her husband Daniel C. "Pete" Norton of the home; a daughter, Patricia Barbour of the home and a grandson, Bobby Barbour of the home; a sister, Mary Strickland of Matthews, NC; a brother, Donald Branch of Garner, NC.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 13, 2023 at 2pm at Cross Rock Baptist Church, 340 Mulberry Street, Shallotte with Reverend Tommy Inman officiating. Graveside services will be Wednesday June 14, 2023 at 2pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 12830 US 70 Business Hwy W. Clayton, NC.
The family will receive friends Monday June 12, 2023 from 6-8 pm at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Dr. Shallotte.
