Annie Lee Smith

Ms. Smith was born in Alamance County on January 12, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Charlie Alson Copple and Mittie Mae Snider Copple. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Veuland Smith. She worked for many years at Sears of Burlington. Ms. Smith was a member of Graham Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by three children, David Smith and wife Patricia of Ocean Isle Beach, Brenda Tillman and husband Don of Elon College and Jeanette Black and husband John of Rolesville ; six grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Dustin Smith, Jessica Schnier, Ryan Harrison Tillman, Melanie Mottershead and William Black[; ten great-grandchildren, Emery Smith, Harrison Schnier, Nora Schnier, Rory Schnier, Quinn Tillman, Madelyn Tillman, Natalie Black, Lauren Black, Tyson Mottershead and Collin Mottershead.

A memorial service will be Saturday February 18, 2023 at eleven o’clock in the morning at Graham Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

In Lieu of flowers the family request contributions to Graham Presbyterian Church.
