She was born in Summit, NJ on June 2, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Paul Polperio and Elizabeth Rapuano Polperio and was preceded in death by a brother, Dominick Polperio.
Annette loved life to the fullest! She was a member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church and a member of the Southwest Brunswick Newcomer’s Club in Shallotte. She was the chairperson of the Newcomer’s Cooking Club and loved giving cooking lessons.
She was an AARP volunteer tax preparer, and served as a volunteer for many organizations over the years. She was an avid shopper, loved playing golf, traveling and decorating her home. She loved her family and being with friends. One of her greatest passions was cooking and entertaining friends and family in her home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her loving family, a husband of 46 years, Bruce S. Goins; two children, Paul Goins and wife, Tonja of Belford, NJ and Pamela Nehmad and husband, Marc of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; a sister, Paula Vergos and husband, Jim of New Haven, NY; and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Ava, Olivia, Marcella, Alexandra, Paulie and Shane; and her precious dog, “Remy”.
A celebration of Annette’s life will be held Wednesday June 29, 2016 11:00 in the morning at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive Shallotte. Immediately following the service a reception will be held at River’s Edge River Hall Amenity Center, River’s Edge Plantation.
Another celebration of Annette’s life will be held in the near future in her home state of New Jersey.
