Mary Magdeline McDade Beck

A service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Sequim Community Church, 950 N. Fifth Ave., for Sequim resident Mary McDade Beck.

Dr. Scott Koenigsaecker is the officiant.

Mrs. Beck died Nov. 11, 2011, at the age of 78.

She was born June 30, 1934, in Okema, Okla., to Isiah and Bertha McDade.

She married Harold Beck in Tehachapi, Calif. They were married for nearly 60 years.

She lived in Washington for 43 years and enjoyed traveling in her motorhome, camping, fishing, and touring more than 30 states with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; son and daughter-in-law David and Misty; daughters and son-in-law Sandy and Daniel; Jan, and Debi; brother Kenneth; three grandsons; three granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by six sisters.
