Sylvia Stella Moore

February 23, 1957-November 15, 2020

Sylvia Moore, 63 of St. Petersburg, Florida fought a long and difficult battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully at Suncoast Hospice, Pinellas Park, Florida to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Wilson and sister, Colleen Colon. She leaves behind her loving partner, Steven Smith, St. Petersburg; mother, Alice Wilson, Blairsville, Georgia; sister and brother in law, Brenda and John Simmons; nephew, Ryan Simmons and niece, Allison Simmons all of Cream Ridge, New Jersey. She also leaves behind her loving pets, three cats, Bailey, Tyler and Brody and two dogs, Sandy and Peanut.

Sylvia has worked in the retail industry and prior to her passing, she worked at Goodwill Industries, Riverview, Florida. She always spoke so highly of her co-workers and loved her job.

Sylvia was a huge animal lover and would do anything to help a stray or injured animal. We would always dream of one day owning enough land to have dozens of animals. Sylvia was a warm and loving person and will be greatly missed. We are very grateful for the time we had her.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorial contributions be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation (Mid Pinellas Care Center), 6770 102nd Ave N. Pinellas Park, FL 33782 or to a local animal shelter such as the Humane Society and of course your local Goodwill Industries donation center.
