She spent many years working as a paralegal in some of Atlanta's top law firms. She lived in Douglasville, GA, Smyrna, GA, Texas, and then moved to her beloved Caribbean Islands. Sandra lived in the Grenadines, Tortola, and Bequia. Her time was spent on both land and sea, enjoying sailing and the beach life. Eventually, she moved back to the U.S. mainland, still remaining close to the beach in Largo, FL. Sandra enjoyed going to the American Legion at the pier, listening to the live music and dancing. She loved Jimmy Buffet and even had a Buffet customized license plate for her favorite Z-car. Sandra had a tremendous love of animals, volunteering and adopting several fur-babies.
Sandra is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara York Cooley and her father, Leon Taylor. She is survived by her half-sister, Michelle Cooley and her half-brothers, Tim Taylor and Kip Taylor.
Sandra will be cremated with a private family service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society and Candy's Cats in Apopka, FL.
